(2008.04.19) HKIS recognised that most private building owners have become more conscious on building maintenance but they are usually hesitant about the implementation for various reasons. In order to let the public have a better understanding on the subject, Building Surveying Division of HKIS is honoured to secure funding from the "The Hong Kong Coalition of Professional Services Atypical Pneumonia Charitable Trust" 『香港專業聯盟非典型肺炎慈善基金』 to produce an educational video, named 『物業保值有何良策 樓宇維修及早計劃!』. The video was launched in the Planned Building Maintenance Seminar on 19 April 2008 (sponsored by the Hong Kong Housing Society).
