Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate ('Green Card')
The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS) has been authorised by the Labour Department to issue the relevant certificate for the construction industry under section 6BA(4) of the Factories and Industrial Undertakings Ordinance, Cap. 59, which will satisfy the safety training requirement under section 6BA(4) of the Ordinance.
New application Corporate members of HKIS may apply for the issue of the certificate. There is an administration fee of HK$50 for the application of the certificate. Please complete the attached application form and return it to the HKIS office together with two photographs. The certificate is valid for 3 years from the date of issue. RenewalCorporate members who have been issued with the Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate ('Green Card') by HKIS are reminded that the Certificate is valid for 3 years from date of issue. If you want to continue using the Certificate, please remember to send in your application for renewal at least one month before the expiry date to ensure sufficient time for processing and return of Certificate to you. The fee for renewal is HK$50.
