Chairman's Message (December 2009)
The AGM was held on 19 November 2009. Mr Sung Hon Kwong, the immediate past Chairman reported the achievement we attained during the past year. Thank you very much for the hard work of the LSD Council, Committee members, working groups and the support from the members.

CPD Report on "Aerial Photo Interpretation and Boundary Determination"
A joint CPD was held by HKIS LSD, the Department of Land Surveying & Geo-Informatics and the Land Surveying & Geo-Informatics Alumni Association on 30 September 2009. We were pleased to have Dr. Conrad Tang, Associate Professor, Department of Land Surveying and Geo-Informatics, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, to present his recent research on the topic "Aerial Photo Interpretation and Boundary Determination".

CPD Report on Technical Visit to Stonecutter's Bridge
Technical visit to the bridge was successfully held under typhoon signal no.1 on 11.7.2009

APC Rules & Guide 2008
Following the endorsement by the Board of Education on 9 July 2008, the Land Surveying Division APC Rules & Guide 2008 revision has come into immediate effect. There are some major changes in the APC requirements and the mechanism of applications although the basic form of assessments is retained.
