Chairman's Message (May 2009)
Arrangements have been made by our CPD convener to visit the nearly completed Stonecutters Bridge on Saturday, 13 June 2009. Stonecutters Bridge is one of the world's longest cable-stayed bridges with two single-pole towers, 290m high and a twin aerodynamic deck. As the Bridge will be opened to the public near the end of this year, this will be our Institute's last opportunity to pay a visit to the site and be briefed by the engineers and surveyors working on the project.

(2008.11.05) The AGM of the Land Surveying Division will be held on 20 November 2008 at 6.30 pm in the HKIS Surveyors Learning Centre. Members of the LSD are cordially invited to attend.

APC Rules & Guide 2008
Following the endorsement by the Board of Education on 9 July 2008, the Land Surveying Division APC Rules & Guide 2008 revision has come into immediate effect. There are some major changes in the APC requirements and the mechanism of applications although the basic form of assessments is retained.
