The Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) of the Land Surveying Division consists of:
- A minimum period of two years comprising not less than 400 working days approved professional training experience in any two of the eight areas as defined in section 6.1. The professional training experience must be recorded in a Diary and Log Book and be gained within 5 years from the APC commencement date as approved by the Institute.
- A minimum aggregate of 40 hours Pre-qualification Structure Learning (PQSL) complementary to the professional training or for professional development;
- A Written Submission to enable the candidates to illustrate his/her practical experience and professional knowledge and skills in land surveying; and
- A Professional Interview to enable the candidate to testify his/her professional competence.
