Assessment of Professional Competence/ATC

The Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors is a scheme of professional training and assessment. Only candidates who are competent to carry out the work of a professional surveyor are admitted to corporate membership of the Institute. Student members attached to the Quantity Surveying Division of the Institute are required to satisfy all requirements of the APC.

In general, the APC for quantity surveying students consists of a minimum period of approved professional training, a written presentation and a professional interview, which also involve several parties such as the candidate, employer, supervisor and counsellor.

Details of Rules and Guide and prescribed forms are available at Main website's APC section.
