詳情	:	Abstract The facade of a building plays a critical role in its overall aesthetics, functionality, and energy performance. Managing facade projects in Hong Kong presents unique challenges due to the complex nature of the systems involved, the diverse range of stakeholders, the need for integration with other building elements, specific regulation, environmental factors, and contractual considerations. This presentation aims to provide insights into effective facade project management strategies, highlighting key considerations and best practices for successful implementation. Key topics to be covered include: 1. Hong Kong Façade Industry and Design Coordination and Integration Hong Kong façade industry and related professional parties. Exploring the need for seamless coordination between architectural intent, engineering requirements, and facade system specifications. 2. Project Schedule and Risk Management Exploring effective scheduling techniques, milestone tracking, and risk management strategies specific to facade projects. 3. Contractual Considerations and Regulation Compliance Discuss the unique contractual considerations and regulations specific to facade projects and highlight the importance of understanding and complying with local laws, building codes, and regulatory requirements in Hong Kong. 4. Facade Project Facilities Management Discuss the common facilities risk items such as water Leakage, Cracking or Spalling, Delamination or Discoloration, Glass Breakage, Coating or Finish Failure etc. 5. Hong Kong Façade Achievement Highlighting successful projects in Hong Kong and around the world.
備註	:	For FACE-TO-FACE: Prior online registration is required. Walk-in registration will not be entertained. Eating and drinking is not allowed at the Surveyors Learning Centre.

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

1.	I confirm that I fully understand and accept the risk of joining the above visit. Under no circumstances shall The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors ("HKIS"), their staff or agents be held liable for the consequence of any accidents whether or not they are caused by the negligence of the HKIS, their staff and/or agents.
2.	Members participating in the above visit shall be in good health condition.
3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
4.	Claims related to COVID-19 and/or pandemics are excluded under the insurance policy procured by the HKIS.
