Mr. Thomas Tang, FHKIS, Chairman of the Board of Education & co-covenor of the of Education Committee of GP Division
Thomas has over 20 years post-qualification experience in Hong Kong and in the PRC, specialising in valuation, land matters advisory and property sales/letting negotiation. Thomas’s main engagement was with CB Richard Ellis, the HK Housing Authority and Hongkong Bank during his career development. Thomas has a wide range of capital and rental valuation experience, covering whole building, development site,shop,office,residential property, agricultural land and special property. He has special insights on property market dynamics. His articles commenting government’s land and housing policies were published in the HKIS journal and in the Hong Kong Economic Journal.

The speaker will give an outline of valuation as a mandatory question in the written APC, and will go through the principles behind the various methods of valuation as well as some practical issues for valuation surveyors in practice. Candidates who intend to sit for the coming APC are advised to attend. A package in the sum of HK$500 available to GP Students & Probationers for a total of 7 sessions of the revision programme including this workshop, please review here. The 7 sessions are afternoon session on 4 August; morning and afternoon sessions on 11, 18, and 25 of August. |
