Recognised Professional Body: PMSA
Section 15(2) of the Property Management Services Ordinance (Cap 626) stipulates that the licencing criteria for property management practitioners (PMPs) may include those relating to applicants’ academic qualifications, relevant work experience, and professional qualifications. In the proposed criteria for a PMP (Tier 1) Licence, an applicant must be a member of a property management-related professional body recognised by the Property Management Services Authority (PMSA). To become a recognised professional body (RPB), the HKIS submitted the following information and documents to the PMSA during August- September 2019 to facilitate the latter’s favourable decision.
