Talk at HKU
YSG was invited by HKU’s Surveying Society to give a talk at HKU on 14 September to introduce the surveying profession and promote itself to Year 1 students.

The talk started with a brief presentation of the HKIS, the roles of surveyors in the development cycle, how to become a qualified surveyor, and the career opportunities available to surveying graduates.

The students listened very attentively. After the introduction, YSG proceeded to the sharing sessions, during which its representatives from the BS, GP, and QS Divisions divided the audience into three groups according to surveying stream and allowed students to choose their groups.
