Andy has involved in the construction of different projects for MEP works including data centres, railways, hospitals, airport, universities and sustainability power for various premises.

With over thirty years of professional experience working in consultants and contractors for MEP works, Andy is highly experienced in the estimation of tier III data centres for various clients in Hong Kong.

Apart from the construction of greenfield data centres, conversion of existing industrial buildings into data centres is also one of the common preferences in Hong Kong.

In view of the COVID-19 pandemic has changed life styles of people. Employees can maintain the productivity when working remotely, and for many companies, their business continuity plans are not what they thought they were. It also means large internet companies are likely to purchase and utilise more spaces in data centres, making collaboration between providers of enterprise software, network infrastructure and facilities more integral to their respective strategies. It is worthwhile exploring the insight into this aspect to enhance the development of surveying industry.
