講師	:	Mr. Kelvin Kuo; Project Director of MES Services Limited MRICS, MHKIBIM, FCInstCES, C. Build E., MCABE, MbSHK Mr. Kelvin Kuo has 20 years of Quantity Surveying and Project Management experience in the construction industry among the discipline of Building, Civil and Interior Design and has over 8 years of BIM project management experience. With the professional knowledge and experiences in Quantity Surveying, Kelvin has involved in developing and promoting the integration of BIM services to current QS practices since 2011, he is handling QSBIM projects in public housings and private sectors of Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Malaysia and Japan. To contribute his professional knowledge to the industry, he has presented CPD/ training to RICS, HKIS, ICES, University of Macau and Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (IVE). He is the BIM Sub-Committee Vice-Chairman of ICES and member of HKIS QSD BIM Sub-Committee.

詳情	:	DevB Technical Circular No. 18/2018 mandated to use of BIM on Cost Estimation with effective on 1st January 2019. While the details of the BIM use expressed in the TC was not only target on Cost Estimate or Quantity take-off, but have to use BIM on project cost budgeting, project cost control and cost evaluation on design option, etc. at design stage; project cost control, cost evaluation on variation of works, cash flow/ spending analysis, etc. at construction stage. This CPD event will briefly introduce the concept and practice on 5D BIM use on cost management.

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
4.	Claims related to COVID-19 and/or pandemics are excluded under the insurance policy procured by the HKIS.
