講師	:	Sr Daniel C W Ho Sr Daniel C W Ho is an experienced quantity surveyor in the construction industry. He is a fellow member of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and is also an accredited mediator. He is currently the director of Urban Renewal Authority (URA) and leads the Building Rehabilitation Division of URA to promote building rehabilitation and to implement various schemes to assist building owners in carrying out the repair works of their buildings.

詳情	:	By the end of 2018, the number of buildings aged 50 or above was about 10,000. This figure will increase threefold by the year 2046. To address the aggravating problem of urban decay of this city, It is of utmost importance to tackle the ageing of buildings. Active participation of building owners in taking care of their buildings is the key to success. Sr Daniel Ho is going to share with you the effort of Urban Renewal Authority in promoting building rehabilitation and in assisting building owners in carrying out the repair works of their premises through various means and initiatives e.g. Smart Tender and Building Rehabilitation Platform.

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

Under no circumstances shall The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors ("HKIS"), their staff or agents be held liable for the consequence of any accidents whether or not they are caused by the negligence of the HKIS, their staff and/or agents.
2.	Members participating in the above visit shall be in good health condition.
3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
4.	Claims related to COVID-19 and/or pandemics are excluded under the insurance policy procured by the HKIS.
