詳情	:	Programme Highlights Hong Kong is facing an acute land shortage problem. The Task Force on Land Supply (TFLS) is of the view that our estimated total land shortfall should be far more than the 1,200 hectares identified under the Hong Kong 2030+ in 2016. After conducting an extensive public engagement exercise in 2018, the TFLS recommended eight land supply options to the Government. Three of the medium-to-long term options are Developing the East Lantau Metropolis (ELM), Near-shore Reclamation outside Victoria Harbour, and Developing the River Trade Terminal site. The Government fully accepted TFLS’s recommendations in February 2019. The Lantau Tomorrow Vision (LTV) covers the aforementioned three medium-to-long term land supply options. The most important initiative is to commence studies on phased reclamation in the Central Waters, with the first phase development on the Kau Yi Chau (KYC) Artificial Islands of about 1,000 hectares matching the location, scale and broad development mode of the ELM land supply option recommended by TFLS. Another major initiative is to take forward near-shore reclamation at Lung Kwu Tan and to replan Tuen Mun West (including the River Trade Terminal). All development projects under LTV will be supported by a new set of strategic road and railway networks connecting to the existing transport networks. The KYC Artificial Islands are built for Hong Kong people. As announced in the 2019 Policy Address, a platform will be established for professionals and young people to take part in the development of these islands. This discussion forum aims at sharing and seeking the views of HKIS Young Members on the Government’s concepts and principles for LTV, in particular the challenges and opportunities of the proposed KYC Artificial Islands, Lung Kwu Tan reclamation and Tuen Mun West development, and how these projects will benefit our future generations. It is also intended to tap the participants’ suggestions on how professional surveyors could be engaged in different processes of the projects.

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.
