講師	:	Ir Richard Lee MBA(TQM), C. Eng, MIStructE, FHKIE, FHKCI, RPE General Manager, Yau Lee Construction Co. Ltd. Ir Richard Lee has been engaging in structural design, project co-ordination and construction practice involving geotechnical instrumentation, pre-stressed concrete and high-rise building structures in Hong Kong. Ir Richard Lee has been joining Yau Lee Holdings Limited over 30 years. He has been actively involved in the development of semi-precast construction technology in particular for the design of formwork systems, construction cycle planning and design of precast components for building construction since 1993. He was the team leader to develop the application of volumetric precast concrete bathroom construction for public housing in 2000. He is also taking lead in developing the concrete modular integrated construction system of Yau Lee Construction Co., Ltd.

詳情	:	The ArchSD’s project for Rank and File Staff Quarters for Fire Services Department at Area 106 Pak Shing Kok, Tseung Kwan O is the first concrete high rise MiC project in Hong Kong. The project is using NEC ECC Option A design and build contract, and the project started in Aug 2018. The construction method involves modular prefabrication, free stand volumetric construction, completed with finishes and/or furniture in factory and transport to site for assembly. There are many differences in the whole process from the traditional construction method. Ir Richard Lee will share his knowledge and practical experiences in implementing MiC construction during design, manufacturing, transportation, assembling on site, and follow on site works. Impacts on contract administration with respect to sub-contracts arrangement and interim payment issues will be shared. A general project review on performance with respect to quality assurance and control, construction site safety precautions, environmental issues and productivity will be discussed.
備註	:	The event will be conducted online via ZOOM. Successful registrants will be notified separately via email with the web link and password in due course to the online event . 1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

Under no circumstances shall The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors ("HKIS"), their staff or agents be held liable for the consequence of any accidents whether or not they are caused by the negligence of the HKIS, their staff and/or agents.
2.	Members participating in the above visit shall be in good health condition.
3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
4.	Claims related to COVID-19 and/or pandemics are excluded under the insurance policy procured by the HKIS.
