詳情	:	Sr Alnwick Chan, Chairman of the General Practice Division of HKIS, and his team from Knight Frank will share their experience in obtaining CC and its application process, based on several case studies involving residential, commercial, hotel, data centre, hospital and mixed developments. The case studies will enable young members to understand the process, challenges and possible solutions to deal with complex projects. This seminar will also highlight the importance of obtaining CC in a timely manner and the potential implications should a CC application be rejected or delayed. Mr Chan specializes in land lease matters since his departure from the Lands Department in 1992/1993. Alnwick’s land advisory team has led the CC application for numerous projects, such as the Concordia Plaza, Cyberport and Bel-Air, The Quayside, The Campton, Sol City, The Spectra, K. City, The Visionary and Jessville. Each project is unique and has its own set of hurdles. Some projects may involve phased developments, while others may require the provision of GIC facilities or highway structures under respective land grant conditions. Such positive covenants have to be dealt with to the satisfaction of relevant government departments before a CC can be issued. The speakers will also touch on other related issues, such as Consent to Assign prior to the issuance of CC.

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

Under no circumstances shall The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors ("HKIS"), their staff or agents be held liable for the consequence of any accidents whether or not they are caused by the negligence of the HKIS, their staff and/or agents.
2.	Members participating in the above visit shall be in good health condition.
3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
4.	Claims related to COVID-19 and/or pandemics are excluded under the insurance policy procured by the HKIS.
