The Annual General Meeting of the Division was held on 29 November 2011, during which the council members were elected to serve the Division:-
I am pleased to see that the number of members of the Division has increased to 52 last year. It seems that the profession and the public in general have accepted the need of providing more planning and development surveyors. Members of the Division have been engaged in more planning and development works, both in private sector and on public projects. We have also been actively advising Government on planning and development t matters in the past year.
I am also pleased to inform you that 3 members in our division, including myself, Mr Wu Moon Hoi, Marco & Mr Chung Hung Kwan, Barnabas, have been elected as members of the Election Committee in the recent Subsector Election.
A lot of people may think that the year of 2012 will be a tough one. For me, whenever there is risk, there is chance as well. Along this line, the council members will soon formulate the goal and work plan for the next year. As the Lunar New Year is coming, may I use this opportunity to wish all members a smooth and prosperous year ahead.
