Conference 2015 cum 10th Anniversary
Our Division will organise a Conference cum 10th Anniversary celebration on 15 May 2015 (Friday) at the Grand Ballroom I & II, 1/F Crowne Plaza Hong Kong Kowloon East, Tseung Kwan O.
Our Guest of Honour will be Prof. Anthony Cheung Bing Leung, GBS, JP, Secretary for Transport and Housing, who will deliver a 30-minute inspiring speech.
The Conference theme will be “Enhancing Sustainability through Professional Property and Facility Management Services”. The gathering aims to provide a unique opportunity for real estate and property management professionals to exchange experiences and ideas that will work towards a sustainable future through property and facility management in Hong Kong. It will also serve as a platform for industry stakeholders to exchange their views and perspectives. In addition, the Conference will mark the 10th Anniversary of the PFMD.
Visit to Beijing
Our Council Member, Sr KS Wong, Kays, joined the HKIS’s November 2014 Beijing Delegates, representing the HKISPFMD on a courtesy visit to the relevant national ministries and institutions. During the visit, Mr Wong introduced the recent developments and new services offered by PFM members in Hong Kong and China. Mr Wang Pang (王鵬), the Secretary General of the China Property Management Institute (CPMI), informed the delegation that the CPMI did not yet reciprocally recognise any Hong Kong professional institute. Thus, the CPMI asked the HKIS to continue to foster a closer working relationship with it in the near future.
During the visit to the Department of Asset Management, Ministry of Finance of China (MOF), Mr Wong explained the various services of the PFM surveyors in asset management. The latest PFMD brochure was presented to Mr Xiao Xuefeng, the MOF’s Deputy Director-General. He welcomed and supported our proposals for more visits to and seminars with our counterpart organisations and institutes under the MOF.
南寧論壇
內地與香港建築業論壇在 11 月 9-11 日於廣西南寧舉行，本港及內地建築同業約有超過 250 人參與此論壇， 本組義務司庫許華倫測量師出席此論壇，透過兩地的建築同業，在會議上深入探討如何能藉著創新科技，互相協同發展，共同「走出去」，並配合國家的「一帶一路」的發展方向，將兩地的建築業擴展到國際上。
