About the Project Life Cycle Series

With robust and diverse expertise, Surveyors are real estate development managers who steer projects into success. Tapping into HKIS’s long-standing tradition in professional project management, the Project Life Cycle Series is a knowledge-sharing initiative presented by the Working Group on Project Management (WGPM) to help members identify and resolve management issues and challenges faced in managing real estate developments.

To this end, the WGPM has planned a series of CPDs covering the Project Life Cycle to shed light on project management topics in various surveying disciplines and enhance members’ project management skills at different stages in the Life Cycle, including:

  • Project Inception and Planning;
  • Design and Development Strategizing;
  • Tendering and Procurement;
  • Construction and Progress Management;
  • Post-construction and Property Operations; and
  • Project Management Tools and Communication.

In this Series, experienced project management practitioners will be invited as speakers to share their insights on various project management topics. This CPD Series will be facilitated by WGPM members and take the form of a seminar, forum or workshop.
