He has more than 30 years of experience in the planning and administration of building projects. He is an Authorized Person (Surveyor), a Registered Professional Surveyor (BS) (PFM) (PD) and had served as the President of HKIS.

Details	:	Content We are talking about the sustainability and sustainable development for many years and it is becoming more essential and obvious for introducing a good sustainable design for every project when we have the mission on assuring the carbon neutrality in the coming years. Construction activities were said to contribute much on the carbon emissions and for no doubt that a good design including the selection of appropriate materials, well planning of whole project shall help. Building profession with appropriate qualification are able to perform this evaluation for assisting the client and project team for better achieving the requirement on sustainability. Sr Raymond CHAN, who is not just a renowned experienced Building Surveyor, but is also a Certified Sustainable Development Planner, will be the speaker for this talk. Raymond will introduce the evaluation concept and advise our fellow members on acquiring such qualification. This talk will be in face-to-face mode for a better chance with discussion and sharing, especially for members in understanding the qualification for being the Certified Sustainable Development Planner.
Remarks	:	PQSL hours shall be determined by the APC candidate's respective Division. For FACE-TO-FACE: Prior online registration is required. Walk-in registration will not be entertained. Eating and drinking is not allowed at the Surveyors Learning Centre.

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.
