Details	:	The BD has recently promulgated the Performance-based GFA Concession Mechanism where development proposals will have to achieve a specific rating under the BEAM Plus in order to be eligible for GFA Concession and to be effective on 30 June 2024. The BD has organised a briefing session on 29 January 2024 (Monday). The new mechanism, specific standards and submission requirements, together with the associated revisions of the Practice Notes for Authorized Persons, Registered Structural Engineers and Registered Geotechnical Engineers (PNAP) APP-151, PNAP APP-19 and Appendices A & D in PNAP APP-152 will be introduced in the briefing session. 2:30pm–3:00pm : iAM Smart+ and ESH account Registration 3:00pm–4:00pm : Briefing Session 4:00pm–4:30pm : Q&A Session
Remarks	:	1. Due to technical problem, the automatic attendance updates are not applicable for this event. Members should update their attendance record on the online CPD profile on HKIS website manually. 2. It is advisable to keep all records for attendance and other evidence of attendance for verification purposes. 1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.
