Seminar for HKU Students
The HKIS was invited by HKU’s Department of Real Estate and Construction on 5 September to introduce the HKIS and the surveying profession to their MSc in Real Estate Students. The Senior Vice President, Sr Edward Au; General Council member, Sr Raymond Kong; and GPD co-opted member, Sr Elsa Ng, attended this seminar. Edward introduced the HKIS and its various surveying divisions to approximately 60 students and invited them to join the HKIS as student members. Edward and Elsa also shared their experiences of working as GP surveyors and the path to becoming a qualified surveyor. The discussion was interactive and fruitful.
