讲师	:	Mr. Gao Jie Mr. Gao Jie possesses a Bachelor's degree in Refrigeration, an Associate Constructor in MEP in China, and has 13 years of experience in refrigeration related work. Mr. Gao is currently the leader of Carrier Commercial Refrigeration in Hong Kong. Carrier Commercial Refrigeration has been researching CO2 refrigeration technology for over 20 years, with years of technical accumulation and rich domestic and overseas application experience. Mr. Gao has been actively involved in the promotion of CO2 refrigeration technology and has rich experience in the application of CO2 transcritical systems. During 2022-2023, he and his team completed three CO2 transcritical Sam's Club stores in Beijing, Shanghai, and Fuzhou The fourth Nanjing CO2 transcritical Sam's Club is under construction.

详情	:	The Kigali Amendment officially came into effect for China in 2021. From July to September 2023, the Hong Kong Environmental Protection Department issued a public consultation on the regulation and reduction of hydrofluorocarbons. In November 2023, the Chinese Ministry of Ecology and Environment also issued the "2024 Total Quota Setting and Allocation Plan for Hydrofluorocarbons". With the global implementation of the HFC phase-down, a large variety of lower GWP alternatives and more energy efficient technologies have emerged, many of which are now commercially available in the global market and have increasingly been used in overseas countries. Hong Kong needs to catch up with the global trend to transit to these lowGWP alternatives. The transition to these next-generation technologies will not only contribute to the global efforts in combating climate change but also bring upon energy saving benefits to equipment users and thus enhance the competitiveness of our business. Mr. Gao will introduce CO2 technology and its applications under the topic of "Natural refrigerant refrigeration system - CO2 transcritical system", while reviewing successful cases of CO2 transcritical system applications in China and overseas.
备注	:	The event will be conducted online via ZOOM. Upon successful payment of the registration fee, the ZOOM link for joining the CPD event will be available in the CPD/PQSL profile under the "Member Area" of the HKIS website. On-line registration is not applicable for non-HKIS members. To register, please complete the CPD registration form and return with payment to the HKIS Secretariat. For PC and Mac, download and install the Zoom Client for Meetings. This is an Official and Core activity related to Professional Practices under the CPD Scheme of the Property Management Services Authority. Holders of Property Management Practitioner Licence may receive a maximum of 1.5 CPD hours by participating in the activity.

Face-to-Face/Zoom	:	By Zoom

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

1.	I confirm that I fully understand and accept the risk of joining the above visit. Under no circumstances shall The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors ("HKIS"), their staff or agents be held liable for the consequence of any accidents whether or not they are caused by the negligence of the HKIS, their staff and/or agents.
2.	Members participating in the above visit shall be in good health condition.
3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
4.	Claims related to COVID-19 and/or pandemics are excluded under the insurance policy procured by the HKIS.
