Application of a Geographical Information System (GIS) to the Novel Coronavirus Epidemic in Hong Kong

GIS is a key competency of professional land surveyors in their project management and engineering practice, spatial data management, map drawing and presentation, geographic information science and systems, spatial data manipulation and analysis in digital mapping, facilities and property management, and other professional land surveying specialties. Recently, the surveying skills of visualisation and modelling, data interpretation and analysis, and data management and retrieval were used to tackle the outbreak of coronavirus disease in Hong Kong.
