Stanley Invitation Cup 2021
The HKIS Dragon Boat Team competed in the Stanley Invitation Cup 2021 held on 14 June (Tuen Ng Festival) at Stanley Main Beach. It was honoured that Sr Edwin Tang, HKIS President, was in attendance to support the team in the Open Division competition with seven other strong squads on that day, during which it achieved second runner-up after three rounds of intensive racing!

I take this opportunity to express my utmost gratitude to the team leaders – Sr Sunny Wong, Iris Mak, and Camman Chan – for organising trainings for their crew and arranging the onthe- day logistics. Thanks also go to the entire team for exerting enormous effort during its trainings and the competition, especially given the Covid-19 pandemic.
