Nomination of Council Members for 2021-2023
The first Council Meeting chaired by Sr Charles Hung was successfully held on Tuesday, 7 December, via Zoom and face-to-face meetings. Apart from updating attendees on matters that arose from the previous minutes, it was proposed that the Quality Property and Facility Management Award competition will be jointly organised with the Hong Kong Association of Property Management Companies Limited with full support from the Property Management Services Authority (PMSA). Tentatively, this event will launch during the first quarter of 2022 and be finalised by the end of 2022, when a dinner and awards ceremony will, subject to the pandemic rules and requirements in place at the time, take place.

Council members, including co-opted members, were nominated to join the HKIS’s various working groups, task forces, committees, and panels related to finance, IT, building/ land matters, administration, recreation/sports, members’ welfare, research and training, etc.
