講師	:	David Fung is a registered architect with over 26 years of architectural experience in Australia and HK and has been using BIM for 21 years and applied this technology into building design, documentation and co-ordination, construction and facility management, establishing the most efficient way of working practices. David was the Chairman of HKIBIM 2015-2017, winner of the 2007 Autodesk International Revit Experience Award and HK BIMer Excellence Awards 2014 organized by Construction Industry Council. He also has extensive experiences in BIM teaching, BIM implementations and establishing BIM standards. He won numerous BIM Awards throughout the years and speakers for conferences and forum. He is a member of China BIM Expert Committee for International BIM Standard ISO19650 for ISO/TC59/SC13 and TC10/SC8. He is the Managing Director of A.C.I.D. (Hong Kong), which has been awarded the UK BSI Level 2 BIM standard certification in 2018.

詳情	:	There are myths and misunderstanding about BIM process in Surveying practices - neither BIM cannot do anything nor BIM can do everything. Can designers/ contractors build BIM models that can produce SMM4 compliance quantities? Can Bills of Quantity be automatically generated? Registered Architect, David Fung, who has 21 years of practical and research BIM expereince, addresses these QS myths in a systematic approach in the coming seminar.

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.
