講師	:	Mr. Leung Yip Wing Mr. Leung has over 35 years’ experience in construction industry related to false ceiling system. He established his company, Wing Yip Building Materials & Engineering Ltd (“Wing Yip”), which is specialized in false ceiling and drywall system, in 1993. He is now the Executive Director of Wing Yip. Mr. Leung is a Committee Member of the Hong Kong Architectural Ceiling Association and a member of Sub-letting Committee of the Hong Kong Construction Sub-Contractors Association (“HKCSA”). Mr. Leung is dedicated practitioner in supporting false ceiling, drywall, and cladding systems’ development in Hong Kong. He has initiated the establishment of the HKCSA. He has also assisted in the inclusion of false ceiling installer and partition (metal frame) installer in “Designated Workers for Designated Skills” provision under the Construction Workers Registration Ordinance, which is aimed to improve the relevant workers’ skills and enhance the professional standard and recognition of relevant industry practitioners, Mr. Chan Wai Shan, Tony MSc, MHKICM, MCIOB, MCABE, MCIPHE, MISHP, MHKICBIM Tony is a Senior Project Manager of Wing Yip. He has been working in the construction industry over 20 years with extensive experience in project management and has dealt with numerous projects with false ceiling system.

詳情	:	False ceiling system has been widely applied for internal and external decorations in Hong Kong for many years. In this talk, the speakers will share their experiences in the following areas: 1. Development of designs, materials and fixing techniques of false ceiling system; 2. Selection of the materials and fixing methods of false ceiling system so as to cope with the building regulations and PNAP; 3. Application and safety consideration for installation of false ceiling system; and 4. Indicative pricing range of different types of false ceiling system. The speakers will also share their experiences in solving the installation problems and difficulties of some kinds of specific false ceiling system with case study.

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.
