講師	:	Sr Miranda LUI, Founder & Managing Director of MES Group MBA, BSc, RPS(LS), FCInstCES, MRICS, MHKIS, MHKMC, MHKIBIM, CCBM Miranda is an internationally educated and highly experienced engineering surveyor and trainer over 25 years in Asia Pacific. She has found MES Group since 2011 which provides BIM / Digital solutions on trainings, consultancy services, R&D and software development throughout Hong Kong, Mainland China, Macau, Malaysia and the UK. Miranda was the sitting member in the CIC BIM committee in 2017-2019, and she contributed her knowledge in local BIM policy development. She is the CIC Certified BIM Manager (CCBM) and the current Chairlady of The Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (ICES) of China Region and the former Chairlady of Hong Kong Region (2015-2017). She represented Hong Kong to act as an international expert role in ICE/ICES Geospatial Engineering Panel in the UK, bridging between the UK and Asia Pacific development. Meanwhile, she is the Founding Member and Chair of Global BIM Centre of Excellence (CoE).

詳情	:	The DWSS is essentially a web-based centralized portal of collecting construction works information and managing the workflows of site activities to enhance efficiency, safety and quality performance. According to Development Bureau TC(W) no. 3/2020, from 1st April 2020, capital works exceeding HK$300M are required to adopt the DWSS with an aim of enhancing the standard and efficiency of works supervision as well as the quality and safety of works. Bureau/Departments are encouraged to adopt the DWSS in other works contracts, such as maintenance and term contracts, with a view to strengthening works supervision. The speaker will introduce the platform for DWSS with local examples to share experiences and for discussions with participants. The speaker shall share her experience in the following areas: (A) Introduction of DWSS (B) The practical application of DWSS in 5 mandatory modules:  Request for Inspection/ Survey Check (RISC) Form;  Site Diary/ Site Record Book;  Site Safety Inspection Records;  Cleaning Inspection Checklists;  Labour Return Record. (C) The impact of using DWSS to the HK construction industry
備註	:	The event will be conducted online via ZOOM. Successful registrants will be notified separately via email with the web link in due course to the online event. 1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

1.	I confirm that I fully understand and accept the risk of joining the above visit. Under no circumstances shall The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors ("HKIS"), their staff or agents be held liable for the consequence of any accidents whether or not they are caused by the negligence of the HKIS, their staff and/or agents.
2.	Members participating in the above visit shall be in good health condition.
3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
4.	Claims related to COVID-19 and/or pandemics are excluded under the insurance policy procured by the HKIS.
