講師	:	Ir CHIK Stephen B Eng (McGill), RPE (Civil & Stru) , CEng, PEng , FHKIE Before his retirement, Ir Stephen Chik was the Principal Advisor - Engineering, General Manager -Civil & Planning and Head of Project Engineering of MTR Corporation. He had involved in planning and delivery of new railway projects for about 30 years. Ir Chik participates in the education and development of young professionals, he currently serves the HKIE as the Chairman of the Professional Assessment Committee, the Deputy Chairman of the Qualification & Membership Board and a member of the Accreditation Board.

詳情	:	The first railway line (Kowloon - Canton Railway) began operation in 1910, since then the Hong Kong railways has expanded to become a heavy rail network of about 270 Km including the Airport Express and the High-Speed Rail. With the Hong Kong Major Transport Infrastructure Development Blueprint published in December 2023, several major railway projects are under planning, design and construction. Green smart mass transit system is introduced to serve new development area. This seminar seeks to share the planning objectives of the new railway extensions, the commercial and statutory frameworks to support the delivery and operation of these extensions as well as the opportunities and challenges ahead.
備註	:	PQSL hours shall be determined by the APC candidate's respective Division. The event will be conducted online via ZOOM. Upon successful payment of the registration fee, the ZOOM link for joining the CPD event will be available in the CPD/PQSL profile under the "Member Area" of the HKIS website. On-line registration is not applicable for non-HKIS members. To register, please complete the CPD registration form and return with payment to the HKIS Secretariat. HKIS members only

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

1.	I confirm that I fully understand and accept the risk of joining the above visit. Under no circumstances shall The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors ("HKIS"), their staff or agents be held liable for the consequence of any accidents whether or not they are caused by the negligence of the HKIS, their staff and/or agents.
2.	Members participating in the above visit shall be in good health condition.
3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
4.	Claims related to COVID-19 and/or pandemics are excluded under the insurance policy procured by the HKIS.
