HKIS Valuation Standards 2017 Edition
Further to the members’ consultation on the drafted HKIS Valuation Standards 2017 Edition, which commenced on 26 July and was followed by a forum on 12 August, the HKIS Valuation Standards 2017 Edition was finalised and endorsed during the 23rd GPD Council (2015- 17) Meeting. Now it will be tabled to the General Council for its approval. The GPD is now in the midst of seeking confirmation from the IVSC to incorporate the IVS into the HKIS Valuation Standards 2017 and from the RICS for referencing the RICS Red Book. It targets a ratification and activation of the HKIS Valuation Standards 2017 by the HKIS AGM in December 2017.
